After studying aerospace engineering in Aachen University and working for several years as a production engineer at Lufthansa Technik Frankfurt in the field of maintenance engineering at MCC, Mutlu Uzun decided in 2009 to take on a new challenge at Haitec Aircraft Maintenance and head the engineering and planning department .
These experiences have proven to be a very good basis for the leap into entrepreneurship. Mutlu Uzun founded 4U Aircraft Design and Engineering GmbH in 2011 and from then on won airlines and maintenance companies all over Europe and worldwide for top-class engineering services. For many years, the focus was on supporting aircraft modification, conversions and component repairs.
With the increasing shortage of skilled workers in Germany and neighboring countries, the demand in engineering and aircraft maintenance increased. We have succeeded in making more employees available to our customers for these tasks.
We expanded our business area in 2021 and now offering besides Design Engineering services (according to EASA Part 21J) as well as Production (according to EASA Form 21G) and Maintenance (according to EASA Part 145).
Due to increased demand from our customers, our area of activity has expanded since 2018 and we are now also successfully placing IT specialists.
With our long-term customer contacts and partnerships with foreign companies and universities, we are well positioned for the selection and provision of suitable candidates from Germany and abroad.
With committed German and foreign specialists from the aviation and IT management sectors, we are successfully helping to reduce the staffing bottlenecks of our customers.
